Guiding GrownUps provides information about four stages that are a part of child development. It aims to help parents prepare their child(ren) in every way needed to start his or her school career the right way.
This course is for busy parents who want to raise their children to have the best chance of success when starting school. Over 4 weeks, there will be 20 short videos. Each week, five different videos will look into areas of development and learning. Each video includes an information sheet and a bitesize exercise that a straightforward yet impactful.
For less than 5 minutes of your time a day, you will receive a video with information and useful tips to get your child, your family, and you ready for the start of school life.
ABOUT US
My name is Emma Hayward. I have been a Primary School Teacher for 20 years, working internationally for most of that time. I trained to be a teacher in the United Kingdom then worked in Spain the United Arab Emirates. My passion is researching child development and this course was created following studies for a Masters in Psychology. Research has shown me that without embedding the foundational cornerstones of learning readiness, it will be very difficult for a child to be successful academically.
